I know a guy for that!
To save you time and the headache of researching who to use during your purchase, over the past 10 years I have compiled a list of reliable, trusted, on the ball, tested professionals in the industry.
In no particular order here is that list:
So many times I hear of buyers spending months looking for a home and just assuming they can get the mortgage. Getting pre-approved is one of the most crucial steps in the home buying process that can’t be overlooked. There is nothing worse than spending months looking for your dream home then finding out in the end you can’t afford to buy it. Below are my “GO TO” mortgage brokers who can help you crunch the numbers, get you pre-approved and moving forwards.
Jessi Johnson – Dominion Lending Centre:
We met near the very beginning of our journeys and both of us started our careers about 10 years ago. As long term buddies, we have had many close squash battles and both share the same passion for our businesses. Jessi has been featured on Oprah Winfrey’s reality show Million Dollar neighborhood and personally manages over half a billion in his client’s mortgages. Well water testing companies
If you are looking to buy a home on well water it’s extremely important you have your water tested as one of you subjects to make sure it’s safe and potentially not going to make your sick. 3 companies in the lower mainland that specialize in this are: http://www.exova.com, http://www.alsglobal.com/ , http://maxxam.ca/.
A new septic system can run you over $30,000 and many homes in the Fraser Valley, especially in the outskirts of Mission are on septic. It’s critical that if the home you are planning to purchase contains a septic system you have it inspected, otherwise you could have an expensive, completely avoidable surprise.
Here are my 3 go to septic inspectors: http://www.septicexpert.com/, Ron Hein Coast Mountain Earth Sciences http://www.bbb.org/mbc/business-reviews/inspection-services/coast-mountain-earth-sciences-in-maple-ridge-bc-153742 , and of course you can make an inquirey to the home owner about who has been doing the regular maintenance, the company should be able to provide you with some insight.
